IN TIME

As Video Graphics Supervisor at Warner Bros. Production Sound & Video, I collaborated closely with the director and production designer to establish the visual language of technology in In Time. A key element was the design of the iconic arm clock—a storytelling device that defined the film’s world. Beyond this, I created billboards, advertisements, neon signage, and border wall graphics to help build a cohesive futuristic society. On the production design side, I developed interfaces for the Timekeepers’ precinct, the main vault systems, and various pieces of in-world tech, ensuring every screen felt integrated into the environment and supported the narrative.

All graphics were designed for live, in-camera playback, giving actors functional technology to engage with on set. This practical approach enhanced realism while reducing the need for replacement shots. I also oversaw the delivery of graphics for post-production visual effects, ensuring consistency between on-set playback and final composites.

The project required balancing sleek, futuristic design with gritty functionality, making the world of In Time both cinematic and believable. By unifying environmental elements like signage and advertising with core storytelling devices such as the arm clock and vault systems, the graphics became an essential part of defining the film’s distinctive aesthetic.
