MOONFALL

As Creative Director of Twisted Media, I led the design, animation, and programming of all screen graphics for Moonfall, spanning both on-set playback and post-production delivery. The film featured large-scale Mission Control environments with multiple LED walls, interactive hero graphics, and complex system displays that needed to feel both cinematic and authentic.

In addition to Mission Control, we created graphics for military bases, situation command centers, Space Shuttle Cockpits, laboratories, phones, and news broadcasts—each tailored to reflect real-world accuracy while serving the story’s heightened action. Playback systems were fully interactive and designed to run live in-camera, allowing actors to engage naturally with functional technology during filming.

A central challenge was ensuring the Mission Control centers looked and operated as believably as their real-world counterparts. This required extensive research, design precision, and close coordination with the production team to balance authenticity with dramatic storytelling. The result was a cohesive visual language that grounded the film’s spectacle in a layer of realism across every screen.
